Bathing bliss by the old apple tree

A spacious swimming pond was created in the Alpine foothills, nestled in traditional surroundings with a wooden house, apple tree, and farm garden. The clients’ wish was to have a natural bathing area with a large wooden terrace for dining, relaxing and enjoying themselves. The central elements are an extensive water lily belt and the harmonious integration of the existing trees. The terrace was designed to extend around the corner – on the one hand to accommodate a large seating area, and on the other as a quiet retreat with a shower and a view over the water. A simple lawn was transformed into a structured garden that combines naturalness, clarity, and recreational quality, and immediately gives the impression that it has always been there.
