Bio Pool Made of Granite

The neighbors already have a Living Pool. The Zurich based Beerli family also wanted a pool that was free of chemicals. The pool as well as the garden design was to be based on Andeer granite. This, of course, was a new challenge for the team of Biotop’s Swiss partner. It was also our goal to design a pool for the Living Pool technology, which works without the use of grout. The result is a Living Pool without one kilogram of grout! The pool was additionally sealed with an FPO liner. The walls, made of burnished Andeer granite, were seamlessly fitted with 4 cm thick panels and were also laid in the ground in gravel. This very special pool color can only be achieved with this natural stone! Winner of Pool Design Frog King 2013
