Centrepiece of a forested park

This central located mirror pond is an eye catcher in this park garden. This pond was built of concrete in the 1970’s. It was leak and the many trees around extremely user unfriendly. The customer wanted this pond as much as possible to maintain in its original size. Parts are completely rebuilt to its original state. Then fine finished with a polyester layer and edge in corten steel. The long and narrow lake has several overflows, which are finished in natural stone or corten steel. The mineral filter runs along the long part to a wider section at the end of the pond.
