Elegant Living Pool

The existing swimming pool was already in a very poor condition after 6 years. The originally chosen earth construction and collapsed walls made maintenance difficult and led to poor water quality and an uncared for appearance. The area of the pond was to be used to create a Living Pool that was as spacious and easy to maintain as possible, and which also had to meet high design standards. A certain naturalness had to be preserved, as well as the existing path surface and the 1.1 to heavy well stone. We decided on a Living Pool in masonry finish construction, the remaining pond area was converted into a planted mineral filter. To facilitate maintenance, an „Aquaguard“ cover was installed and a pool heater for more comfort.
