Conversion of an existing chlorine pool into a Biotop Swimming Pond: The pond is located in the immediate vicinity of the house, along the meandering landscape on the River Dijle. The aim was to create a natural connection with the pond and let it merge with the open meadow landscape. Bathing in pure water without chemicals and not having to shower to wash off the chlorine feeling was high on the client’s wishlist. Now everything feels very pleasant and natural. The Swimming Pond is also the ultimate discovery spot for the five children and the many friends who regularly drop by to swim and play. This Biotop has created a real living-garden zone and finally makes the house feel “in the garden”.
