Modern garden concept with Swimming Pond and sunken garden

In this project, an old part of the building was demolished to make room for a modern extension and an exclusive Swimming Pond. A characteristic design element of the old building – a large clinker brick wall – was reinterpreted and repeated in several places in the style of the existing masonry. The clinker material is now used as a border along the property line, as a defining element in the sunken garden and as a stylish raised bed border. The sunken garden area is elegantly complemented by floating Schellevis steps, creating a modern connection between the levels. The Swimming Pond is traversed by a clear set of steps that add design and functional accents. The result is a timelessly designed garden that impressively combines old and new.
