Natural classic in the Vienna villa district

After purchasing an overgrown plot of land in a prime Viennese exclusive residential area, the client turned to us to realise their long-cherished wish for a Swimming Pond. The client’s clear ideas were for a classic, romantic natural Swimming Pond embedded within a lush garden. The pond now nestles in an elegant curve between the bathhouse and an old birch tree. At the request of the clients, and due to the requirements in the conservation area, we dispensed completely with concrete. The loose soil offered the best conditions, and so the entire Swimming Pond was built using the classic unpaved earth wall construction method. Only in the area of the footbridge were some angled elements placed to create a clearly defined visible edge.
