Natural Plunge Pool in “Down Under”

The clients wanted the look of a conventional pool with clean lines, while simultaneously they wanted plants incorporated into the design. This is what the Australian BIOTOP partner came up with, a nice deep plunge pool to cool off in, overlooking the lake. A beautiful place to sit and relax, taking in the amazing view. The swim zone in the pool is very formal with a filter bed to one side; the edge of the filter bed is finished off with local river rock and boulders. Primarily native plants were used, except for a few lilies.
