Pond and Pool for an australian B&B

Genevieve Milham from Plane Tree Lodge first approached the Australian BIOTOP partner wanting a large feature pond to add to her already impressive garden and to complement the five acre B&B property with a pool in mind for a later project. As a keen swimmer the Australian partner mentioned the concept of a "Natural pool" combining a conventional swimming pool and a pond. Delighted with the idea, the pool was carefully planned and an amazing fresh water aquatic oasis was constructed. The swimming area is 16 meter long and five meters wide and contains a total of 225 000 liters of fresh living water. Two skimmers and the latest BIOTOP technology was used to ensure crystal clear water all year around.
