Camping Paradise with Natural Pool for Dutch Vacationers

The Dutch couple Annie and Gert Stolk generously rebuilt and expanded the Alpenferienpark Reisach. They adapted the restaurant and renovated the log cabins. It was especially important for the owners to retain the character of the camping grounds which were in the middle of nature. The old swimming pool was turned into a small natural pool. Not only the guests were enthusiastic about the results, the Alpenferienpark is considered by the local tourism authorities to be the ideal attraction to complement their offering in the region. Vacationers from the Netherlands make up 90% of the camping ground‘s guests. Natural Pool Owner Gert-Jan Stolk: “Our philosophy is to be different than the others. The natural pool is part of this philosophy and has also increased the number of our guests.”
