Natural Pool, Take Two

The BIOTOP partner company first heard about this project in 2003. At the time, the previous owner received a blueprint and an offer to build a Natural Pool. The verdict: “Much too expensive!” A competitor company dug a hole, inserted a liner, built stairs down into the water and christened the whole thing a “swimming pond”. Twelve years, and a change of owners later, the same BIOTOP partner company was once again called in. The new owner wanted to swim in crystal clear water. The renovation comprised a swimming area in masonry block construction, retrofitted filter equipment and a remodeling of the shoreline. The result: The water is clear, and the customer highly satisfied.
