In 2004 the owners took advantage of the level plateau at the edge of the woods directly below the house to build a natural swimming pool. They also took the opportunity to create a spot in the evening sun for relaxing in front of a gleaming white protective wall. On sunny days the massive stone wall still radiates heat in the evening and creates a pleasant warm microclimate. An enormous old fir tree covers the sundeck in deep shade. A comfortable bathhouse with kitchen is hidden behind glass doors. Ten years after being built there is no longer a difference between a natural pool and a natural lake. The mystical, lake-like appearance of the surface and the impression that the water is very deep are created the black liner. Dark water increases the mirroring effect.
