To create a dynamic, charming, high-class swimming landscape out of an uninspiring garden with a dilapidated shed was not only a convincing sales argument, but also an ambitious goal. The design and all the main elements of it were based on a circular form. Differences in height were creatively used to take advantage of differences in the terrain, so that the pool – just as in nature – finally rests in the deepest part of the garden. The old shed was imaginatively transformed into a bath house, and along with the rounded wooden deck actually becomes the center of the swimming landscape. Shade is provided by a grove of sycamore trees, screens out of high planted trellises, the plantings are Mediterranean-dominated, and lighting and high-class materials are additional characteristics of this swimming paradise.
