Natural Pool in St. Veit, Upper Austria

The old local swimming pond in the municipality of St. Veit in the province of Upper Austria, was increasingly becoming a hygienic problem. Ms. Rechberger, the local mayor, opted for a complete renovation with a new liner and regeneration areas with plants in line with statutory provisions. The key requirement was to preserve the large, contiguous pool area measuring approximately 3,200 m². The two floating piers in the pool are built as floating jetties that can be disassembled. The flat shoreline covered in gravel provides for easy access to the water. The young people in St. Veit can now test their courage on the diving tower equipped with two diving platforms.
