Swimming next to the koi carp

An old combined koi carp and swimming pond was separated into a Living Pool with a regeneration zone and a separate pond for the koi carp.The old combination was not a successful option, the algae problem also being very dominant, so we converted these ponds into two separate systems. The 5 x 12 metre Living Pool was covered with dark grey PVC liner and is attached to a regeneration zone and Biofilter behind it. In the swimming zone, a solar roll cover made of polycarbonate provides a cover but also protection for the children from the deeper part of the pool. If you compare the before and after, you can see an impressive difference.
