The aura of a mountain lake

This Living Pool is more than just an oasis: it is a symbol of joie de vivre and freedom. It tames the elemental force of water combined with the architecture of its surroundings. The surface of the granite emphasises the natural colour of the water. For the design it was important to us, care was taken to ensure that the pool emerges gently from the garden. When selecting the materials, care was taken to ensure that natural stone materials from regional sources were used. The lower-lying seating area with granite blocks offers a sheltered retreat and provides a special view of the water surface. Plants with a high level of biodiversity were selected for the future planting. The ground cover of thyme species between the boulder stepping stones attracts insects until late in the autumn.
