The currently ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has no negative consequences in regard to the use of Swimming Ponds and Living Pools.
The new coronavirus is transmittable from individual to individual. The main transmission vector appears to be infection by droplets. This form of transmission can occur between individuals when droplets containing the virus reach the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Transmission by smear infection by way of individuals’ hands coming into contact with the mucous membranes of the mouth or nose or the conjunctiva of the eyes is generally possible, but likely plays only a minor role.

This means that there is next to no risk of infection with coronavirus from swimming in general and from swimming in natural pools in particular.
